Dear Fr. Michael
I am not a subscriber to your blog (you might remember why, my e-mail a few days ago), but here I am, visiting Live Holiness. Came across the videos……what a wonderful RETREAT it is for me. Either reading your meditations or listening to your talk – touch my heart very deeply. By the way, I have “In Conversation with God” on my shelf, purchased the whole set (7 books) 5 years ago and still reading it for …a few days/ then putting it away as another spiritual reading comes my way. I like knowing that I can always open the book on “present” day and find meditation that would relate to this “present day” scripture readings.
Thank you Fr. Michael for your work,
With prayers and care,
Thank you very much, Father Najim. I am not a Roman Catholic, but I really liked what you said about Jesus. I do accept Jesus as the second person of the Trinity, and as Lord, on faith. After many years of not talking to Christ, I have lately developed a devotion to Jesus again. (It’s a long story.) Pax Christi! All the best.
Thanks for reading and commenting!
Thank you very much, Father Najim, for your blog and for helping me get closer to Jesus through your heartfelt post. I will look at the other posts on your blog as soon as I can. All the best. Pax Christi!
When I first saw this video, I thought that I could carry out two out of three of the suggestions: daily prayer and telling Jesus I loved Him. Going to Confession and receiving Communion was at the time nowhere on the horizon. Now I have a spiritual director who is a member of the Reformed Catholic Church and I have gone to Confession with him over the phone. I am also receiving Communion when I attend the Episcopalian Church, which i discovered last year. I am very happy about these developments.
